  8.     Twenty minutes' drive from downtown Kuwait City, there is a zoo with no animals. 
  9.     Iraqi soldiers ate the deer and turned the lions and tigers loose in the streets, where they eventually were shot by the Kuwaiti resistance. The rest of the animals were trucked to Iraq, like almost everything else of value in Kuwait from computers and gold bars to manhole covers and a roller coaster.

  59.     The gulf war allies have put Baghdad on notice that, starting today, any Iraqi aircraft entering a new no-fly zone in the south risk being shot down. 
  60.     President Bush Wednesday said the ban on aircraft south of the 32nd parallel - meant to help protect 7 million Shiites from Iraqi attack - takes effect at 10:15 a.m. ET today.
